Unrestricted free-agent guard Brandon Jennings has agreed to a one-year, $1.5-million deal to play for the Shanxi Brave Dragons of the Chinese Basketball Association, ESPN's Marc J. Spears reports.
Jennings hopes to return to the NBA following the 2017-18 CBA season, according to Spears.
The 27-year-old has struggled to regain his form after rupturing his left Achilles tendon during the 2014-15 campaign, spending the majority of his minutes at backup point guard over the last several seasons.
The 6-foot-1 point guard split time between the New York Knicks and Washington Wizards this past season, averaging 7.1 points, 4.9 assists, 2.4 rebounds, and 0.9 steals in 81 combined games.
