Draymond Green thinks Damian Lillard needs to slow his roll.

Lillard and Portland Trail Blazers co-star C.J. McCollum have been trying to sell Carmelo Anthony on their squad amid reports that the New York Knicks leader is disgruntled in the Big Apple and ready to move on.

Lillard was quoted wishing the Golden State Warriors "good luck" against his club if it acquires the 10-time All-Star, to which Green posted several laughing emojis and told the point guard to "give it a break."

Green is known to be cocky, especially when it comes to his team, which just capped off a stellar campaign by winning its second championship in three years.

You'd think he'd be more accepting of players' recruitment efforts, though, considering the reigning Defensive Player of the Year infamously texted Kevin Durant incessantly in an (ultimately successful) bid to convince him to join the Dubs last summer.

Despite rumors that Anthony isn't willing to waive his no-trade clause to join the Trail Blazers, their starting backcourt hasn't let up on its pursuit of him. McCollum said Portland would be a top-three team in the West with the 33-year-old on board, while Lillard called the move a "real possibility."

Not long after Green's Instagram post emerged, Lillard suggested his "good luck" quote may have been misconstrued:

Afterward, he straight up said the line was taken out of context.

Here's the original quote, via CSN Bay Area:

We can compete with anybody in the West, but I think when you get to those teams like Golden State, if we happen to run into them in a playoff situation now - we getting in the paint, and if they want to help off someone like Melo ... good luck.
