No. 1 overall pick Fultz sprains ankle in Summer League action
Not again.
Markelle Fultz - the No. 1 pick in this year's draft - suffered a left ankle sprain in Saturday's Summer League game against the Golden State Warriors, the Philadelphia 76ers announced.
ESPN's Ramona Shelburne, meanwhile, reports that Fultz is dealing with a high ankle sprain.
The 19-year-old had to be helped to the locker room after rolling his ankle in the third quarter.

Upon watching the point guard leave the court, there was immediate concern that Fultz was in danger of falling victim to the same fate as teammates Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons, who each suffered significant injuries prior to their respective rookie seasons.

"Can't feel great, a guy going down, actually two players going down on the same play," Bryan Colangelo told Shelburne, referring to the fact that guard Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot was also hurt in the exchange.
"Again, based on the initial diagnosis, you rather hear that than something worse."
The 6-foot-4 Fultz averaged 23.2 points, 5.9 assists, 5.7 rebounds, 1.6 steals, and 1.2 blocks as a freshman at Washington last season.
