The Bay Area is about to get swaggier.

The Golden State Warriors and free-agent shooting guard Nick Young have come to terms on a one-year deal worth $5.2 million, his agent Mark Bartelstein told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

After spending the past four seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, Young declined his $5.66-million player option for 2017-18 to become an unrestricted free agent.

He's taking a bit of a pay cut and a short deal to try his hand at a championship with the Warriors, who've claimed two of the last three NBA titles and are light-years ahead of the rest of the league (at least when it comes to talent).

Among said talent are All-NBA studs Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, and Draymond Green, who all reportedly reached out to the unrestricted free agent in a bid to recruit him, which, according to the L.A. Times' Tania Ganguli‏, meant a lot to him.

Although Young's contract is valued at $5.2 million, it'll cost Golden State about $13 million more in luxury tax, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks. The club's tax bill stands at $23 million, and figures to increase, as the Dubs have three more roster spots to fill (one of which is expected to be filled by rookie Jordan Bell).

Young averaged 13.1 points on 40.5 percent shooting from the field and 37.7 percent from deep to go along with 2.3 rebounds and an assist per game with the Lake Show. He previously suited up for the Washington Wizards, Los Angeles Clippers, and Philadelphia 76ers. The 32-year-old is expected to back up Klay Thompson and provide shooting in the second unit.

Swaggy P was recently spotted on separate occasions with Green and fellow free agent JaVale McGee. Young had also reportedly drawn interest this summer from the Minnesota Timberwolves.
