Report: Jazz scheduled to meet with Otto Porter

The Utah Jazz aren't wasting any time in moving on from the departure of franchise player Gordon Hayward.

Just moments after Hayward announced he'll be joining the Boston Celtics, news broke that the Jazz have reportedly set up a meeting with Washington Wizards restricted free-agent forward Otto Porter Jr., per Michael Scotto of Basketball Insiders.

Throughout the offseason, reports have centered around Washington's stance of matching any offer Porter were to receive. The 24-year-old had reportedly received a max contract offer from the Sacramento Kings of roughly $100 million over four years.

But considering Sacramento has since landed both George Hill and Zach Randolph, the Kings are likely out of the running for Porter's services.

The Jazz, however, would presumably need to make a similar offer should they have any chance of prying Porter from Washington.
