If the Washington Wizards and Detroit Pistons want to keep their restricted free agents this summer, they're going to have to pay up.

Both Otto Porter and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope are expecting to receive rich offers from the Brooklyn Nets, league sources told ESPN's Marc Stein.

Brooklyn will have approximately $30 million in cap space at their disposal to toss at free agents. When it comes to Porter and KCP, though, both the Wizards and Pistons will have the right of first refusal, and can match any offers that come their way within 48 hours.

Washington extended a qualifying offer of $7.7 million to Porter earlier in the week, while the Pistons did the same with KCP at nearly $5 million.

Porter finally broke out in his fourth season in the nation's capital, ranking fifth in the Association in 3-point percentage at 43.4 percent, while averaging career highs in points (13.4), rebounds (6.4), steals (1.5), and player efficiency rating (17.3). He also finished fourth in balloting for NBA Most Improved Player behind Rudy Gobert, Nikola Jokic, and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Brooklyn was linked to KCP back in March, with Nets coach Kenny Atkinson vocal about how impressed he was with the 24-year-old's energy on the defensive end following the Nets' victory over Detroit.

Offer sheets were given to Tyler Johnson, Allen Crabbe, and Donatas Motiejunas last summer by the Nets, but all three were matched by their respective clubs at the time.
