JaVale McGee financed Tupac biopic, to miss premiere if Dubs lose Game 5
All eyez on McGee?
Warriors big man JaVale McGee has added incentive for the NBA Finals to wrap up Monday night, which would help satisfy his ambitions as a producer.
McGee has been dabbling in Hollywood, and was brought on to help finance the upcoming film, "All Eyez on Me," a biopic based on the life of rapper Tupac Shakur, reports The Undefeated's Marc J. Spears.
"I’ve always been into producing stuff," McGee said. "I got put into a position where I was able to be more of a monetary producer in the Tupac movie. So I jumped at the chance, especially after I saw the movie."
But if the 2017 Finals extend past Monday, McGee will have to forgo his attendance at the film's premiere on Thursday - the same night as Game 6.
For McGee's sake, let's hope Game 5 doesn't come down to a Hail Mary.
