Draymond jabs Cavs fans: Not the 'sharpest people around'
Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green couldn't resist one more dig at Cleveland Cavaliers fans, even after a 21-point loss in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.
Green was repeatedly booed and jeered by the Cavs crowd, with chants of "Draymond sucks" breaking out on two occasions, but none of that bothered Green in the slightest.
"I don't pay that much attention to anybody in Cleveland, honestly," Green told Chris Haynes of ESPN. "They don't seem to be the sharpest people around."
Green finished with 16 points and 14 rebounds in 39 minutes Friday, and avoided ejection despite appearing to pick up two technical fouls in a mix-up that the referees have since taken responsibility for; after receiving a technical in the third quarter, referees clarified that the earlier technical which seemed to be charged to Green in the first quarter was actually called on head coach Steve Kerr.
