Iguodala hints he, Curry, Durant are all re-signing with Warriors

It won't come cheap, but if Andre Iguodala has his way, he, along with two of his All-Star teammates, will still be members of the Golden State Warriors next season.

The former Finals Most Valuable Player hinted at that being the case Thursday afternoon while chatting with the media:

Iguodala basically implied that after the three hit unrestricted free agency, it won't take long for them to re-up with the Warriors and have a joint press conference announcing they'll be back.

Golden State is only committed to roughly $38 million in salary for the 2017-18 campaign, most of which is going to Klay Thompson ($17.8 million) and Draymond Green ($16.4 million). That leaves nine players eligible to walk in free agency (Iguodala, Curry, Durant, Ian Clark, Matt Barnes, Zaza Pachulia, JaVale McGee, Shaun Livingston, and David West), while James Michael McAdoo is a restricted free agent.

Durant - whose player option is $27.7 million - is reportedly willing to take less than a max offer to help the Warriors preserve their core. The four-time scoring champion is able to re-sign for $35.4 million per season under the new collective bargaining agreement, but by taking less, Golden State could flex its Bird rights and potentially be able to keep several key role players, including Iguodala.

Curry is also able to cash in big after meeting certain qualifications for the designated player exception, providing him the opportunity to ink the biggest contract ever for over $200 million through 2020-21.

The Warriors are one victory away from sweeping the Cleveland Cavaliers out of the NBA Finals and becoming champions for the second time in three years.
