JaVale McGee shows up to Game 1 in throwback Shaq hat

The long-running feud between Golden State Warriors center JaVale McGee and TNT analyst Shaquille O'Neal has taken an odd turn, as McGee showed up to Game 1 of the NBA Finals wearing a retro cap emblazoned with his frequent critic's name.

The 29-year-old journeyman and retired Hall of Famer traded barbs earlier this year, with McGee becoming a regular target of ridicule in Shaq's recurring "Shaqtin' a Fool" segment on TNT. Kevin Durant and Shaq's mom were eventually dragged into beef before it eventually settled down.

But with McGee showing up in a #ThrowbackThursday-appropriate outfit, it's hard not to wonder what his endgame is by rocking O'Neal's old signature line. Is this an olive branch to show that all is forgiven, or is it another slight hurled at his biggest critic?
