Austin Rivers pans former teammate Glen Davis
A rift between Los Angeles Clippers head coach and president Doc Rivers and former player Glen "Big Baby" Davis has been given context by a source directly on Rivers' family tree.
Back in February, Davis criticized Doc - who coached Davis in both Boston and L.A. - for a plethora of organizational decisions Doc has made as president of the Clippers.

But it was Doc's son and current Clippers' guard, Austin Rivers, who stepped in rather bluntly Wednesday afternoon.
"That's a bunch of BS. That's just Baby talking. It makes no sense," Austin said on FS1's "Undisputed."
The 24-year-old Rivers opened up further about Big Baby's final stint with the Clippers a few seasons ago, saying Davis was "constantly out of shape, late, and don't remember plays."
Austin also dismissed much of the beef specific to Davis and Doc, but did take exception to Davis insinuating that the Rivers' father-son relationship caused issues inside L.A.'s locker room.
"That has never had a play in the team. I've earned every stripe that I've gotten. I've earned every playing time. That's just him talking out the side of his neck. I don't even understand where that comes from," Austin said.
"I'm not even paying that no mind. Waste of my time."
