Celtics suffer worst playoff loss by a No. 1 seed in NBA history
Seeds aside, what the defending NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers did to the Boston Celtics in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals was downright evil, blowing them out by 44 points at the TD Garden.
Taking into account that the Celtics finished the 2016-17 campaign first in the East (53-29) puts the defeat on an entirely different level, as it's now the biggest loss by any No. 1 seed in postseason history.
It's also the largest margin of victory in an Eastern Conference finals game.

Games 3 and 4 take place at Quicken Loans Arena beginning Sunday night. The Celtics' morale can't be very high at the moment, knowing they didn't have a lead at any point on their home floor against Cleveland.
