76ers owner: 'I am going to text Sam Hinkie a big kiss tonight'
Sam Hinkie may have stepped down as general manager of the Philadelphia 76ers more than a year ago, but his infamous "Process" is still paying dividends.
After the Sixers won the rights to swap first-round picks with the Sacramento Kings in this year's draft thanks to a trade Hinkie orchestrated in 2015, 76ers owner Josh Harris reached out to his former GM and president for having the foresight to make such a shrewd move.

Philadelphia never won more than 19 games with Hinkie at the helm, as the Sixers underwent a three-year tanking effort in order to acquire as many young assets as possible.
While Hinkie may be gone, his legacy has not been forgotten, as Sixers fans raised a banner of their former general manager during Tuesday's draft lottery party.
