Rockets to offer $1 beer again for Game 6 vs. Spurs

The Houston Rockets are pulling out all the stops to battle the problem of their late-arriving home crowds.

Just as they did in Game 5 of the first round, the Rockets will once again offer $1 beer and sodas for an elimination-game scenario against the San Antonio Spurs in Game 6 on Friday.

The low-cost special will only apply for one hour before tipoff, which aims to serve as an incentive to have the Toyota Center packed in time for a showdown with the Rockets' bitter Texas rivals.
