It should come as little surprise, but Atlanta Hawks power forward Paul Millsap said Saturday that he would "most likely" opt out of his contract this summer, according to AJC's Chris Vivlamore.
Whether that means a departure from Atlanta remains to be seen, but the 32-year-old stands to be in line for a raise regardless. The Hawks are likely to try everything they can to retain their best all-around player, especially after taking Millsap off the trade market in January.
Since signing in Atlanta as a free agent in 2013, Millsap has put together the best four-year run of his career - averaging 17.4 points and 8.3 rebounds and being named an All-Star each season.
