Bucks' Malcolm Brogdon: Cleared to play Monday vs. Hornets

Rotowire

Brogdon (back) will be available for Monday's game against the Hornets, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Brogdon had missed the previous five games with back soreness, but the Rookie of the Year candidate looks like he'll be able to get in a pair of tuneups before the postseason arrives after he was able to go through contact drills Sunday. The 24-year-old had been running with the starting five prior to suffering the injury, but it's unclear if he'll immediately displace Matthew Dellavedova for those duties Monday, as coach Jason Kidd may want to ease Brogdon back into game action.
