Report: Lonzo Ball's agent to pursue shoe deal for family brand
Lonzo Ball and his family are a package deal when it comes to future endorsement deals, it seems - at least when it comes to shoes.
The 19-year-old ex-UCLA guard reportedly hired Harrison Gaines to be his agent. His family, meanwhile, recently launched the Ball Sports Group, and owns the Big Baller Brand athletic apparel company.
Gaines plans to seek a shoe deal with a major company as a partner for the family brand, rather than a conventional endorsement, sources told The Vertical's Shams Charania.
Lonzo's father, LaVar, has said he wants all three of his sons (Lonzo, LiAngelo, and LaMelo) to receive a collective endorsement deal of $1 billion, throwing out his offer to the likes of Nike, Under Amour, and Adidas.

Lonzo is projected to go in the top three during the 2017 draft after averaging 14.3 points, 6.7 assists, and 4.7 rebounds during the NCAA tournament. The Bruins were eliminated by Kentucky in the Sweet 16.
