Redick: Clippers have been 's--- since the All-Star break'
The Los Angeles Clippers' recent losing skid is beginning to take its toll.
J.J. Redick did not hold back following the Clippers' third-straight defeat on Thursday night, giving reporters a brutally honest assessment of his team's recent performance,
"I don’t know what to expect from this team anymore," Redick told Bill Oram of The Orange County Register. "We’re in a bad place right now. We’ve been s*** since the All-Star break."
While harsh, the 6-foot-4 shooting guard certainly has a point. The Clippers have gone just 5-8 in the season's second half, and are dangerously close to falling to the seventh seed in the West.
Redick isn't overly optimistic that Los Angeles will find a way to turn things around, saying that little has changed over the past several weeks.
"I expect that we’re going to play horrible defense. I expect that," Redick told Brad Turner of The Los Angeles Times. "That seems pretty consistent with where we’re at right now and other than that I have no other predictions."
