Dynamic Duos
- PG Stephen Curry (76K) and SG Klay Thompson (54K), Warriors (at Bulls): Affordably priced, Curry and Thompson can be expected to make up the bulk of the 25.3 points per game averaged by SF Kevin Durant, who is out of action with a knee injury. Golden State hung 123 points on the Bulls in early February, with Thompson leading the way with 28.
- PG Damian Lillard (84K) and SF Maurice Harkless (38K), Trail Blazers (vs. Thunder): With a combined price tag less than the 127K commanded by Oklahoma City PG Russell Westbrook, Lillard and Harkless form a cost-effective pair. Harkless has played at least 36 minutes in three straight games, averaging 12.6 points and seven rebounds, while in the same stretch Lillard has produced 31.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and 6.3 assists.
Bargain Plays

- SG Alex Abrines (32K), Thunder (at Trail Blazers): Abrines is worth considering with SG Victor Oladipo (back) missi a fourth straight contest. Abrines has started the last three games, averaging 30 minutes and 14.3 points, while making 11 total 3-pointers. The Spaniard doesn't offer much beyond the scoring column, but fortunately Portland ranks 26th in defensive rating and has allowed 109 or more points in five of its last six games.
- PF Alan Williams (31K), Suns (vs. Hornets): Williams has mostly warmed the bench this season, but with the Suns opting to give their younger players a chance post trade deadline, the second-year man has responded. He has averaged 14 points and nine rebounds over the last two games, and in the five occasions this season where he topped 20 minutes, Williams has failed to record a double-double only once.

- PF Marvin Williams (54K), Hornets (at Suns): Though Williams played nearly 36 minutes per game in February, he averaged only 11.5 points and 6.6 rebounds, making his price tag slightly too high for someone who isn't a huge contributor in any one area. Williams has only the fourth-highest usage rate of Charlotte's starting five and has recorded just one double-double in 2017.
- C Tyson Chandler (39K), Suns (vs. Hornets): A necessary consequence of the youth movement which has allowed the above-mentioned Williams and others to shine, established veterans have to take a back seat. Chandler hasn't played a minute in any of Phoenix's last three games. Who knows if it will change, Thursday, but he's too big a gamble to consider putting in a lineup.
Contrarian Options

- PG Rajon Rondo (34K), Bulls (vs. Warriors): On a small slate, eschewing one of the handful of star point guards available is a bold move. Though still in a bench role, Rondo is seemingly back in Chicago's good graces. He has averaged 17 points, five assists and 2.5 steals over his last two outings, and tallied 12 points, eight assists and six rebounds in an earlier meeting with Golden State.
- SF T.J. Warren (48K), Suns (vs. Hornets): Bulls SF Jimmy Butler is the lone elite option at the position, so he's sure to be the most popular selection. Like Phoenix's other young players, Warren has been given a chance to sink or swim of late; he has played at least 34 minutes in each of the last three games, averaging 19 points and 6.3 rebounds.
