Raptors' P.J. Tucker: Isn't likely to play Friday
Tucker isn't expected to play Friday against the Celtics, Gary Washburn of The Boston Globe reports.
Analysis:
Tucker was acquired from the Suns on Thursday, but since he has yet to practice with his new team, the Raptors may wait until Sunday's game against the Trail Blazers before clearing him for his debut. Once he gets acclimated to his new surrounding, Tucker is expected to serve as the primary backup to starting small forward DeMarre Carroll, while also logging minutes off the bench as a small-ball power forward.
