LeBron passes Terry Porter for 14th in all-time assists

LeBron James reached another milestone on Friday night.

With his first assist of the evening, the four-time MVP passed Terry Porter for 14th on the NBA's all-time assist list.

He now has 7,161 assists for his career.

Despite spending the majority of his minutes at small forward, LeBron has turned himself into one of the league's most gifted passers since being drafted in 2003, averaging seven assists throughout his well-documented career.

Should he continue at his current pace, LeBron should pass Lenny Wilkins and Maurice Cheeks by season's end.
