Watch: Pistons' Caldwell-Pope buries Blazers with game-winner in 2OT

C.J. McCollum wasn't the only player with ice flowing through his veins at the Moda Center on Sunday.

The Portland Trail Blazers guard's clutch shots at the end of regulation and the first overtime period forced extra time, but they didn't win the game. That distinction went to Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who undoubtedly nailed the biggest shot of the night when it mattered most.

With the Detroit Pistons trailing by two with 11.6 seconds remaining, point guard Reggie Jackson inbounded the ball to KCP, who then turned around and knocked down a 3-pointer right in the eye of Allen Crabbe to give the Motor City a one-point lead with 9.4 seconds left.

That basket turned out to be the dagger that killed Portland's chances. A McCollum jumper and a last-ditch effort to secure a tip-in with just 0.2 seconds on the clock didn't fall the Blazers' way, and the Pistons escaped with a 125-124 victory.
