Basketball fans around the globe will soon be treated to a special documentary on arguably the greatest rivalry in NBA history.
In honor of the 30-year anniversary of the 1987 Finals, ESPN will be airing a two-part "30 for 30" on the storied rivalry between the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics, according to Sports Illustrated's Richard Deitsch.
The film will mainly focus on the games themselves, but will also examine the cultural and social impact of the rivalry.
The documentary will be executive produced by Emmy-winning producer and director Jonathan Hock, whose previous work includes "The Best That Never Was" and "Unguarded."
