Nuggets' Kenneth Faried: Production dipping in last three starts

Faried compiled five points (2-4 FG, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, two steals and one assist across 15 minutes in Tuesday's 110-107 win over the Bulls.

Analysis:

After recording double-doubles in two of his first three starts since entering the top unit Nov. 12 against the Pistons, Faried has seen his playing time and productivity decline in the subsequent three starts. In those games, Faried is averaging just 5.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 1.0 assists in 21.3 minutes per game, with the likes of Wilson Chandler and Nikola Jokic cutting into his workload. Faried should still be in line for extended run on certain nights when his skill set suits the matchup well, but there will likely be high volatility in his game-to-game production.
