Green knew Bucks' play before clutch steal: 'Don't go at me for game'
Moments after Golden State's 124-121 victory - their sixth straight - Green rubbed salt in Milwaukee's wounds by seemingly calling out the team's lack of creativity in their playcalling.
"They have two plays that they run in situations like that," Green told reporters, adding that he knew which of the two Milwaukee was running based on where Antetokounmpo was positioned.
Green also mentioned that he took the Bucks' plan of posting him up with the game on the line as disrespect. "Don't go at me for game," the always brash All-Star exclaimed.
High-profile, clutch defensive plays like Saturday's will no doubt help his cause.
The All-NBA forward finished with 10 points, five assists, three steals, two rebounds, and two blocks against the Bucks, as Golden State improved to 11-2.
