Raptors' Nogueira won't play vs. Nuggets after birth of daughter

Toronto Raptors center Lucas Nogueira will miss Friday's game against the Denver Nuggets after his wife gave birth to the couple's first child - a daughter - reports the Toronto Star's Doug Smith.

Nogueira is expected to rejoin the Raptors in Sacramento on Sunday. With his absence in Denver, Jakob Poeltl can be expected to see the bulk of minutes at the backup five, after sitting out the last four games.
