Spurs' Pau Gasol: Ends Monday with sore neck

Gasol came away from Monday's game against the Heat with a sore neck after taking a hard foul underneath the basket in the third quarter, Tom Osborn of the San Antonio Express-News reports.

Analysis:

Gasol actually played through the injury into the fourth quarter, ending with a total of 31 minutes, so there's no reason to panic about his availability moving forward. However, it shouldn't take anyone by surprise if coach Gregg Popovich allows him to rest Wednesday when the Spurs take on the Kings.
