Nuggets' Emmanuel Mudiay: Turnovers, poor shooting limit impact Thursday
Mudiay tallied 12 points (4-18 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, five steals and three assists across 33 minutes in Thursday's 102-99 win over the Timberwolves.
Analysis:
Mudiay converted a key three-point play down the stretch and racked up a season-high total in steals, but those were about the only positive takeaways from what was otherwise one of his worst outings of the season. In addition to turning the ball over six times -- the third time in four games he's had at least five giveaways -- Mudiay couldn't buy a bucket. His field-goal percentage now sits at 30.2 percent for the season, which has largely undermined his otherwise strong counting stats totals.
