Gasol sends game to OT with career-high 4th trey of season

Plenty of big men have come into a new season trumpeting their willingness to extend their shooting range.
It appears Marc Gasol's talk was a lot more than just lip service, as the Memphis Grizzlies star sent Sunday's game against the Washington Wizards to overtime with his second 3-pointer of the night, and his career-high fourth trey of the season.
The former Defensive Player of the Year then added two more triples in overtime of the Grizzlies' 112-103 victory, giving him more in one night (four) than he's ever even made in a season.
Gasol, who has made at least one 3-pointer in each of the Grizzlies' three games and is 6-of-13 from deep on the year, entered 2016-17 having never attempted more than 17 in a season.
