Cavs' Shumpert in concussion protocol after leaving season opener

Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard Iman Shumpert has entered the NBA's concussion protocol after leaving Tuesday's NBA opener against the New York Knicks.
Shumpert banged his head on Kristaps Porzingis in the third quarter and did not return.
The Cavs next face the Raptors in Toronto on Friday, so Shumpert would need to be symptom-free and pass a series of tests in order to play.
Shumpert played 14 minutes off the bench Tuesday, recording two points with three assists. Should he miss time, DeAndre Liggins is expected to see action in his stead.
