Durant says he and Westbrook are 'still cool'
Despite numerous reports of a fractured relationship, Kevin Durant insists there's no animosity between him and Russell Westbrook.
“We're still cool," Durant said at a Nike event Friday. "We're going to compete against each other at the highest level. We're gonna have fun against each other. We're still cool."
While Durant attempted to put an end to the rumors this week, the Golden State Warriors forward stated earlier in the summer that his relationship with Westbrook "would never be the same."

Westbrook has done little to quell the hearsay, reportedly deleting his former teammate's goodbye text, and taking a subtle shot at Durant in his newest Air Jordan ad.
Even if the tension has been overstated, it's created a lot of hype heading into the 2016-17 campaign, and fans are already counting down the days until Nov. 3 - the first time the pair will face each other.
