Free-agent forward Christian Wood and the Charlotte Hornets agreed to terms on a two-year contract, sources told The Vertical's Shams Charania.

Wood is currently playing for the Philadelphia 76ers' summer league squad in Las Vegas. An undrafted free agent out of UNLV last year, the power forward played 17 games for the Sixers in 2015-16, averaging 3.6 points and 2.2 rebounds.

Wood turns 21 in September. The second year of the deal is a team option, Charania reports.
