Jabari Parker has joined fellow NBAers Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James in addressing the racially-charged violence afflicting U.S. culture, and on Friday the Milwaukee Bucks forward engaged with a conservative talk show host who had made controversial remarks about President Barack Obama on Twitter.

Joe Walsh, a former Republican congressman, had tweeted "Watch out Obama. Watch out black lives matter punks. Real America is coming for you," before deleting it.

Parker, like Obama a Chicago native, replied with the above tweet. The third-year power forward, like several other athletes, has been vocal on social media regarding the spate of police shootings of African-American males. In the wake of the Dallas tragedy Thursday, stars like Anthony and James have issued pleas through social media to end the violence.
