If anyone knows about the ramifications of a booming salary cap, it's Memphis Grizzlies owner Robert Pera, whose team committed a reported $247 million to Mike Conley and Chandler Parsons over the next four-to-five years on the first day of free agency.
Later on Friday, Pera tweeted this:

Pera, whose Grizzlies are also being linked to Eric Gordon, can surely afford his team's spending spree. The 38-year-old is worth more than $2 billion, and the NBA's massive new television contract, which will financially benefit all owners, is what made this cap spike possible.
