The Boston Celtics selected power forward Guerschon Yabusele with the No. 16 pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.
Yabusele is likely to be a draft-and-stash, meaning the Celtics will keep him overseas for at least one season, The Vertical's Shams Charania reports, citing league sources.
The 20-year-old Frenchman is a physical load, standing 6-foot-8 and weighing 270 pounds. Yabusele comes in as one of this draft's most intriguing prospects, registering a near 7-foot-2 wingspan and a reliable shot out to the arc.
Yabusele, who boxed as a youngster, averaged 11.5 points on near 54-percent shooting and just under seven rebounds a game for French league club Rouen this past season.
