LeBron: I've been part of adverse situations, this wasn't one of them

After reeling off back-to-back home victories in Games 3 and 4, the Toronto Raptors entered Wednesday night's Eastern Conference finals matchup with an unlikely, but realistic chance of grabbing a 3-2 series lead in Cleveland.

And while the Cleveland Cavaliers certainly had reason to be concerned, LeBron James suspected his team had little to worry about heading into Game 5.

"I've been a part of some very adverse situations. And I just didn't believe that this was one of them," James told reporters following the Cavaliers' Game 5 victory.

After blowing out the Raptors by 38, it's difficult to fault James for his overconfidence, particularly after dropping 23 points, eight assists, and six rebounds, while sitting out the fourth quarter.

With Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving healthy, James hasn't needed to shoulder the scoring load to carry the Cavaliers to victory - a circumstance that has put him at ease throughout the postseason.

"There may be a time when I need to have one of those games, but until then, just relax," he said.
