The NBA's reigning MVP is also considered one of the most prominent people in the world, according to Time magazine.

Stephen Curry was listed in the "Titans" category of the publication's "100 Most Influential People" list, paired with the likes of Pope Francis and Mark Zuckerberg.

"Many of our sports heroes are sold to us based on their superhuman skill level," American ballet dancer Misty Copeland wrote in the entry on Curry. "But every so often we get to experience one who combines these superior physical gifts with humility and grace while also letting us into his life to share the journey to greatness with him."

Other current athletes joining Curry on the list include: Jordan Spieth, Usain Bolt, Ronda Rousey, Lewis Hamilton, Katie Ledecky, and Sania Mirza.
