Durant not into theory Wizards hired Brooks to lure him

If there's a conspiracy surrounding where Kevin Durant will land next season, he isn't tipping his hand.
Durant, who is set to become a free agent this summer, has been linked to the Washington Wizards since they hired Durant's former Oklahoma City Thunder head coach Scott Brooks on Thursday.
When questioned whether he believes the Wizards brought in Brooks with the intention of luring Durant back to his hometown, the seven-time All-Star was quick to shoot it down.
"I ain't really into theories," Durant told reporters Friday. "I'm focused on the Mavericks."
Durant acknowledged that he believes Brooks, who coached him for parts of six seasons, is a great leader and is happy for the opportunity he has in Washington.
It was reported Wednesday that Durant is not keen on playing for the Wizards and that he doesn't enjoy the hassle of playing in his hometown.
His lone trip to D.C. this season was stressful, league sources told The Vertical, reinforcing to friends that wherever Durant signs next summer, Washington won't be it.
