ESPN to follow the 4 Chase drivers closely at Homestead
Sunday’s Cup finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway marks ESPN’s final race broadcast, and the network is doing something special for the four remaining Chase drivers.
“It’s been exciting for us to bring the races in the new format of the Chase, and we’re especially looking forward to history being made in Sunday’s championship race as the entire season comes down to the wire in one race,” said ESPN president John Skipper in a statement.
Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick, Joey Logano and Ryan Newman will each have a dedicated camera assigned to them throughout the race. In addition, each team will have an overhead camera atop their pit box to document their pit stops.
ESPN will feature a graphic below the scoring ticker featuring the position of all four drivers throughout the race.
