Jimmie Johnson wins the FedEx 400 at Dover

Two weeks ago, many were speculating when Jimmie Johnson would win a race. Now, the same people are probably wondering when he’s going to stop winning.

Jimmie Johnson dominated the entire FedEx 400 at Dover International Speedway today, leading 272 of the 400 laps run, and grabbing the checkered flag for the second week in a row.

“I told you that you were going to like that race car!,” crew chief Chad Knaus told Johnson as he crossed the finish line.

Johnson has dominated Dover International Speedway, with today’s victory being his 9th at the track. The 2 drivers that come closest to Johnson are Bobby Allison and Richard Petty, with 5 wins each.

The winless Matt Kenseth finished the race in 3rd place after spinning his tires on the final restart. Furniture Row Racing’s Martin Truex Jr. finished the race in an impressive 6th spot, and rookie Kyle Larson finished in 11th.
