Wallace crashed and finished 37th in the Bank of America 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:Wallace would start inside the Top 10 and lead 11 laps early in the race. He would look primed for a big performance in this 400-mile race. However, as stage 1 was drawing to a close Alex Bowman would lose control of his No. 48 Chevrolet and slide quickly up the track into Wallace's Toyota. The two would sustain heavy damage after contact with the outside wall and also collecting the Chevrolet of William Byron in the pileup. All three drivers would be done for the day and Wallace would be hit with the disappointing DNF at Charlotte.
