Hamlin won the Coca-Cola 600 NASCAR Cup Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway Sunday evening.
Analysis:
Hamlin would start on the pole and lead some laps early, but he would fall back int the field in short order. The Joe Gibbs Racing star would rally back to the front to challenge the leaders once again during stage 3. The race would go into two overtimes and Hamlin would out-duel Kyle Busch during the final restart and dash to the finish to capture the win. It was Hamlin's second victory of the season and first-ever at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
