After lap 105 claimed Kyle Busch and Dale Earnhardt Jr., lap 128 saw 16 drivers involved in a massive crash that forced Jimmie Johnson and Danica Patrick out of the 59th Daytona 500.

Kevin Harvick, Trevor Bayne, Denny Hamlin, Clint Bowyer, Joey Logano, Joey Gase, Matt DiBenedetto, Landon Cassill, Chris Buescher, Kurt Busch, Kyle Larson, Brendan Gaughan, Martin Truex Jr., and D.J. Kennington were involved in the crash.
