Alistair Overeem is a terrifying human being.

One of the greatest strikers in the history of the heavyweight division, Overeem brings his considerable arsenal to Orlando on Saturday night, where he'll exchange devastating bombs with former UFC heavyweight overlord Junior dos Santos.

With a scintillating finish almost a certainty considering the combined firepower of Overeem and dos Santos, we're here to prime you for the inevitable by counting down the top three finishes of Overeem's illustrious career:

Knee from the pits of hell

Sure, it wasn't MMA, but it's hard not to appreciate the savage beauty of what Overeem did to poor Ewerton Teixeira during the 2009 K-1 World Grand Prix.

The hulking "Demolition Man" violently earned his nickname, detonating C-4 on Teixeira's jaw before walking away as the completely unconscious kickboxer crashed to the canvas.

Laying waste to the Duffman

Built like a Greek god, Todd Duffee was still a blue-chip prospect when he ran into the sentient brick wall that is Overeem at a K-1 event in 2010.

The introductions took longer than the fight.

Mere seconds into the bout, Overeem crumpled Duffee with a vicious knee to the midsection, and finished him off with a nasty combination that left an unconscious "Duffman" dangling between the ropes.

Roasting Lesnar's ribs

Brock Lesnar probably should have stayed on the shelf.

More than a year after losing the UFC heavyweight title to Cain Velasquez, Lesnar returned to the Octagon against Overeem, who was hungry to add another high-profile scalp to his growing resume.

A predatory Overeem feasted on Lesnar's ribs, blasting the former champion with devastating body kicks until one particular rib-roaster sent the WWE superstar backpedaling into the cage.

From there, Overeem landed a few finishing nails before closing out the fight with a sledgehammer to Lesnar's tenderized midsection.
