Gadelha cruises to lopsided decision victory over Aguilar at UFC 190

In a matchup of elite strawweights, a calm and aggressive Gadelha completely overwhelmed Jessica Aguilar, piecing apart the former World Series of Fighting champion with heavy combinations en route to a dominant unanimous-decision victory.

The leather-tough Aguilar was game, but her lack of head movement was violently exploited by Gadelha, who gashed up Aguilar's face with battering punches and knees.

Aguilar tried to return fire with thumping leg kicks, but they were often answered with hard combinations, with Gadelha closing out every round with a big takedown.

Following the bout, Gadelha begged Dana White to give her another shot at Joanna Jedrzejczyk, whose razor-thin, split-decision victory over Gadelha at UFC on FOX 13 vaulted her into a title shot.
