After sitting on the sidelines for more than a year with an ACL injury, legendary heavyweight Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira will make his return to the Octagon against Stefan Struve at UFC 190.
Showing the damage of a lifetime in the ring/cage, Nogueira's career is really starting to back-slide, having lost via armbar to Fabricio Werdum at UFC on Fuel TV 10, before being knocked unconscious by a vicious Roy Nelson right hand at UFC Fight Night 39.
The much younger Struve has suffered through some injury and health issues of his own, and badly needs a signature win to get his floundering career back on track. In his last two trips to the Octagon, "The Skyscraper" was violently finished, falling victim to strikes by heavy hitters Mark Hunt and Alistair Overeem.
UFC 190 takes place on Aug. 1 at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, and features a women's bantamweight title clash between Ronda Rousey and Bethe Correira as the main event.
