A featherweight bout between Nik Lentz and Levan Makashvili has reportedly been pulled from Saturday's UFC Fight Night 60 after Lentz fell ill with the flu, the promotion announced Friday.
This is the second time in six months "The Carny" has had a fight scrapped on weigh-in day. Lentz was set to face Charles Oliveira at UFC Fight Night 50, but Oliveira was forced to hit the eject button after he fell ill the day before the event.
Lentz, who was originally scheduled to square off with Thiago Tavares until Tavares was forced to pull out with an injury, has emerged victorious in four of his last five trips to the Octagon.
UFC Fight Night 60 takes place at the 1STBank Center in Broomfield, Colo., and features a welterweight clash between Brandon Thatch and Benson Henderson as the main event.
