Mickey Rourke remained undefeated in his first boxing match in 20 years.

The 62-year-old actor defeated an opponent more than half his age in Moscow on Friday, knocking 29-year-old Elliot Seymour to the canvas twice in the second round to secure the TKO victory.

Rourke, who left Hollywood to box for three years during the 1990s, reportedly lost 35 pounds in anticipation of the fight. He said decided to return to the ring in an effort to help deal with personal hardships.

"I've got some things going on in my life so (boxing has) sort of saved me from myself," Rourke said, according to The Associated Press. "And for a man like me, it's better ot live in fear than go on in shame."

The actor improved to 7-0 with two draws in his boxing career, and said he plans to hold four more fights in Russia.
