UFC 174 Fight Pass Prelims: Saggo and Tanaka dominate
Michinori Tanaka Def. Roland Delorme via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
There were no Octagon jitters for Michinori Tanaka, as the 23-year-old employed suffocating top-control and a steady stream of elbows to claim an easy unanimous decision victory in his UFC debut over Zuffa veteran Roland Delorme.
Tanaka neutralized Delorme with well-timed takedowns, and used the aforementioned elbows to bust up the Canadian under his left eye in the second frame.
Delorme showed brief flashes of offense in the three-round scrap, claiming full-mount twice before being reversed almost instantly on both occasions.
Tanaka is on point tonight cause him and all of his crew have been crushing blue Slurpee Big Gulps from 7-11 since post weigh-ins, legit.

Jason Saggo Def. Josh Shockley via TKO (Punches)
In the curtain-jerker of the evening, Jason Saggo used dominant grappling en route to a TKO victory over Josh Shockley.
The 28-year-old Canadian controlled Shockley on the floor, making the transition from full mount to back mount multiple times, before using a flurry of of ground-and-pound from the back to finish him with less than five seconds left in the opening stanza.
The win, Saggo's first in the UFC, improves his MMA record to 10-1, while Shockley drops to 11-3 (0-1 in the UFC).
