Tyron Woodley bashes Joe Rogan for 'horrendous' commentary during UFC 171 win

Tyron Woodley (13-2) picked up a TKO victory at UFC 171 after Carlos Condit suffered a torn ACL and partially-torn meniscus in the second round. But Woodley, now ranked as the No. 3 welterweight in the world by Sherdog.com (after champion Johny Hendricks and his UFC 171 opponent Robbie Lawler), disputes the notion that he only won due to the injury, specifically targeting UFC commentator Joe Rogan for what he perceived to be biased commentary.

"I think Joe Rogan was horrendous for the [commentary] that he did for that fight. Everything was like 'Oh, Tyron threw a hard bomb, but Carlos, he's got such a great chin. Oh, Tyron has a takedown, look at Carlos, he's doing a mission impossible guard,'" Woodley told MMA Mental. "Everything that I did, he was leaning it towards the credit of Carlos Condit."

Woodley also took issue with the assertion that he was "gassed" during the fight.

"I was not wincing. I was not in any harm or any danger at any point in the fight. My cardio felt great and it was even in my gameplan to increase the level in the third round," said Woodley.
